Science in room 3

Happy Tuesday!

I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. We have been exploring the theme of solids, liquids, and gases in our classroom. The students seem to be enjoying it and have been taking out library books on science - how exciting!

We have been watching videos and doing hands-on activities to deepen our understanding of how particles in solids, liquids, and gases look. We recently finished an activity with Cheerios, where students had to show what the particles looked like at each state. They did a fantastic job! I am posting a picture of their hard work below.

Here is a neat little video I showed them on what types of material can be changed into solids, liquids, and gases. Water is always the easiest example, but this video showed us different mediums that changed state. We really liked it!

Enjoy :)
